Lucas Systems and TRG Join Forces To Deliver Jennifer VoicePlus Solutions
Leading mobility hardware provider TRG joins lucas Systems Partner Program. Companies will team up to deliver Jennifer VoicePlus solutions leveraging TRG’s Mobile Managed Services Offerings.
Lucas Systems, Inc., the largest independent provider of voice-directed warehouse applications, today announced that Technology Recovery Group (TRG) has joined the Lucas Systems Partner Program. TRG and Lucas will jointly deliver Jennifer VoicePlus solutions on open, industry-standard mobile computers, leveraging TRG’s Mobile Managed Services. Jennifer VoicePlus supports voice picking and other voice-directed warehouse tasks that improve associate productivity and accuracy, reducing distribution center costs.
“Voice has become a must-have, mainstream technology, and Jennifer VoicePlus is the de facto standard for warehouse voice solutions on standard mobile computers,” says Debbie Birk, VP of Global Marketing at TRG. “Many long-time customers are turning to TRG to help them implement voice while continuing to leverage our Mobile Managed Services. This new partnership brings together two market leaders with complementary hardware and software solutions. Together we provide an end-to-end solution that delivers a high ROI along with the lowest total cost of ownership for rugged mobile hardware used in the warehouse.”
Under this new partnership, TRG and Lucas will jointly deliver Jennifer VoicePlus voice-directed warehouse applications running on mobile computing devices from Motorola Solutions, Honeywell, Intermec and other leading manufacturers. Jennifer is the best-selling voice solution for standard mobile computers used in the distribution center. Because the solutions are designed for these multi-modal devices, customers can run Jennifer voice applications on the same terminals they already use for radio frequency (RF) barcode scanning applications, providing additional cost savings and flexibility compared to traditional voice-only solutions.
“We are proud to team up with TRG to deliver Jennifer VoicePlus solutions,” says Jennifer Lachenman, VP of Product Strategy and Business Alliances at Lucas Systems. “Warehouse operators recognize the inherent advantages of running voice applications on standard mobile computers. TRG has built a great reputation helping warehouses manage their mobile hardware resources, so it’s only natural that companies would turn to TRG for assistance when they are looking to deploy Jennifer voice in their DCs.”
