Lucas Systems is Expanding into the Pacific Rim with Jennifer Voice Picking Systems Deployed in Singapore and Australia
Lucas Systems, Inc., the leading provider of voice-directed warehouse applications for open, mobile computers, today announced that Jennifer VoicePlus applications have been deployed this year in Singapore and Melbourne, Australia. These new Jennifer voice picking sites are part of a global roll out for a leading industrial equipment manufacturer. The new site in Singapore is the first Jennifer application in Mandarin.
Jennifer VoicePlus is the first voice application to use voice and scanning interchangeably in a single application, and to run on standard mobile computing devices that can be used in voice and non-voice processes. Jennifer’s next-generation industrial speech platform, Serenade, supports more than three dozen languages and provides industry-best speech recognition accuracy with a minimum of user voice training.
“There is growing demand worldwide for hardware-independent voice solutions that can run on standard industrial mobile computers from Motorola, LXE, and other leading companies, rather than special-purpose voice-only hardware from one vendor,” said Chris Sweeney, SVP of Lucas Systems. “With Serenade, Jennifer VoicePlus is the ideal solution to meet this growing need, providing flexibility and industry-best recognition accuracy across languages, users and challenging warehouse environments.”
