Stratix Extends Enterprise Mobility Offerings with Jennifer VoicePlus by Lucas Systems

Lucas Systems, Inc., the leading provider of voice-directed warehouse applications for open, mobile computers, today announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership withStratix Corporation, a leading mobile enterprise solutions innovator. Under the partnership, Stratix and Lucas will jointly market, sell and support Jennifer VoicePlus solutions – the first voice directed warehouse application built to run on open, industry standard mobile computers rather than single-purpose voice-only hardware. Jennifer supports voice picking and other voice directed warehouse tasks to improve associate productivity and accuracy while reducing distribution center costs.

Under this new partnership, Stratix will deliver voice directed warehouse solutions leveraging its end-to-end enterprise mobility services and Jennifer VoicePlus software optimized for best-of-breed ruggedized devices from leading hardware manufacturers. Jennifer is optimized for standard mobile computers, allowing customers to run Jennifer applications on the same terminals they already use for non-voice radio frequency (RF) applications, providing additional cost savings and flexibility compared to traditional voice-only solutions.
